What does a typical search for a musician look like in today's landscape?
There's a few scenarios that come to mind:
-Established band with leaving member, need someone to plug and play
-Singer/songwriter looking to take live performance to next step, looking for a band
-Brand new musician looking to cut their teeth with someone of equal skill level
And how do we go about searching for these people? Craigslist seems to be a common answer, but it doesn't quite feel like its a contemporary use-case. Going to shows and having the motivation to play music with others seems pretty sufficient as well. But come on people...
ITS 2019!!
There's literally an app for every type of relationship connection you can think of, but what about musicians? What about connecting through something with a little more substance hookin' up or finding BFF's?
And what about people who don't necessarily have easy access to a music scene? Or have the social confidence to get out and go to a show by themselves?

But seriously, it's worth considering how this relationship is being facilitated right now, and while Flint is one of the few options out there trying to integrate tech into making this a better experience ...
(the best, actually)
...let's focus on the most important part which is bringing musicians together. It's a beautiful language that exceeds traditional dialogue on so many different levels. As long as the end result is more people making more music together:
we happy.
Peace,
